guitarist Robin

British guitarist Robin Trower has a new album out called 'Living Out Of Time'. It features ex Gamma singer Davey Pattison on vocals. Unfortunately, Trower does not have a deal secured for the release of the album, and it only available for sale via his website: Trower Power.
From the ZZ Top camp. A new 80 song 4 CD collection titled 'Chrome, Smoke & BBQ: The ZZ Top Box' has a release date of Oct 14th. The collection contains remastered tracks spanning 14 albums released between 1968 and 1992. And while we're talking things ZZ.. finally (after all the hoopla about a return album as early as March this year), the band will release their new 16-track studio album 'Mescalero' this week. Releasing an album after a series of summer dates/gigs seems arse about face to me. Anyway, will it be worth the wait? Who knows..! Blue Oyster Cult fans will be interested to hear of the reissue of Donald 'Buck Dharma' Roeser's 1982 solo album 'Flat Out'. It is another in the great line of reissues from the Wounded Bird stable. For trivia buffs, there is an interesting track on the album called 'Your Loving Heart'. Ordinarily you'd think it was a typical gooey gushy love ballad or something, but no, it's about a heart transplant/donor. Different eh? The album is available now.
Remember the Canadian bands A Foot In Coldwater and Champion? Well, if you do, you'll remember the name Alex Machin. As it turns out, Alex is now the new lead singer with Canadian rockers Moxy, replacing incumbent Brian Maxim who has left amicably, to pursue other interests. The band still have a huge following down in Texas (they should emigrate down there!)
G-DAZE favorites Y&T have a new block of material in the can. The band have been digging up hidden treasures, going through the vaults and have even finished lyrics and re-recorded one track so far. The project has a tentative title of: 'Unearthed' and looks set for an end of year release.

The first chance for anyone to hear AUDIOVISION will come with the release of the band's contribution to the Swedish tribute to THE SWEET titled "The Sweet According To Sweden".
